Wo bleibt ICS? [UPDATE]

"Fast" alle LG Optimus 3D Besitzer werden sich fragen: Wann kommt denn endlich Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) ?
Nun ja, LG ließ sich lange Zeit um sich überhaupt mal über dieses Thema zu äußern. Nur zur Erinnerung: ICS wurde schon von Google vor ca. 1 Jahr vorgestellt.

Im Dezember 2011 veröffentlichte LG über Facebook folgende Mitteilung:

During the second quarter of 2012 upgrades will begin for the following smartphone models: the LG Optimus LTE, Prada phone by LG 3.0, the LG Optimus 2X, the LG Optimus Sol, the LG my Touch Q and the LG Eclipse. These upgrades will be followed by upgrades for the following smartphone models during the third quarter of 2012: the LG Optimus 3D, the LG Optimus Black, the LG Optimus Big, the LG Optimus Q2 and the LG Optimus EX.

Hier ist das Update für das O3D im dritten Quartal angekündigt. Viele werden sich fragen warum nicht gleich auf Jelly Bean (4.1) updaten? Auf dieses tolle Update können wir uns dann nächstes Jahr freuen!

UPDATE (23.8.2012) : Die für das 2. Quartal angekündigten Updates für folgende Smartphones: LG Optimus LTE, Prada phone by LG 3.0, LG Optimus 2X, LG Optimus Sol, LG my Touch Q und das LG Eclipse wurden bis heute nicht veröffentlicht!
